William E. “Woody” Slaterbeck, 54, 242 S. Mill St., Loganton, PA died December 28, 2021 at the UPMC Williamsport Hospital. Born March 16, 1967 in Lock Haven he was the son of the late Arthur T. Slaterbeck and Sandra G. and Greg Leighty who survive in Loganton, PA. On December 20, 1986 he married Kimberly A. Cross who survives at home.
Woody retired in 2007 as a MSG in the U. S. Air Force after more than 20 years’ service. For his service he received among his many honors the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Air Force Overseas Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor Device with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with Six Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal with one service star.
After working at 1st Quality for 7 years on August 6, 2018 Woody opened Slaterbeck’s Auto Repair and Performance Garage in Lock Haven, Woody enjoyed Tik Tok, Drag Racing and most of all his family.
He is survived by:
1 Daughter: Felicia A. (Daniel) Workman, Loganton, PA
1 Son: Arthur T. (Antonia) Slaterbeck, Loganton, PA
1 Brother: Dwayne (Windy) Slaterbeck, Beech Creek, PA
7 Grandchildren: A. J., Alexandra, Dominic, Anthony, Joshua, Georgia, and Izabella

A funeral service honoring the memory of William E. “Woody” Slaterbeck will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA with Pastor Daniel Reed officiating. Friends will be received in the funeral home, Friday, January 7, 2022 from 6-8 PM.
Interment, St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Booneville.
