William E. Ferree, Jr.

William Ernest Ferree, Jr. 84, a resident of UMPC Haven Place, formerly of 120 Ferree  Lane, Mill Hall, PA died at Haven Place October 12, 2022. Born Dec. 5, 1937 in State College he was the son of the late William E. and Mary Madeline Shirk Ferree.

Bill was a graduate of the Mill Hall High School and worked as a poultry farmer, delivery driver and retired from Penn State University. In his younger years he was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Survivors include: 2 Sons: Steve Ferree (Lin Patch Toner), Mechanicsburg, PA and Jeffrey Ferree (Allison 

                                                Reeder) Mill Hall, PA

                                 1 Brother: Richard Arthur Ferree, Lock Haven, PA

                                  4 Grandchildren: Taylor, Jeremy and Kortney Ferree, and Taylor (Allen)Harrison

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 son John Lewis Ferree and 1 Brother James Carl Ferree.

A private gathering of family and private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall, PA

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the residents care fund at Haven Place through the funeral home.
