Thomas V. McLaughlin

Thomas V. McLaughlin 72, of Lock Haven, Pa, passed away on Friday April 25th,2025 at home.

Thomas was born in Lock Haven to parents Thomas V. and Alice E. (Yoxheimer) McLaughlin Sr. on August 29th, 1952.

He graduated from Lock Haven State University, Penn State University and Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He was a well-respected Sgt. for the Pennsylvania State Police and served for many years and was also the State Police Vocalist. Thomas wrote proposals to gain special money for programs within the State Police.

He loved fishing, playing his guitar, singing and writing his own songs.

On June 15th 1991 he married the love of his life Karen (Molino) McLaughlin who survives, also surviving is a brother-in-law, Dominick M. Molino and numerous cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 in the St. Agnes Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3 East Walnut St., Lock Haven at 10AM with Celebrant Father Joseph Orr of the Holy Spirit Parish. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received in the Gedon Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC, 121 West Main St. Lock Haven on Tuesday April, 29th from 5-7PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Thomas’s name to the Lock Haven Catholic School, 331 Water St. Lock Haven, Pa 17745 or the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mill Hill Rd. Lock Haven, Pa 17745.
