Shirley Lorraine Hetzel

Shirley Lorraine Hetzel, 83, of Mill Hall, PA, passed away on October 29, 2024 at the Geisinger Medical,100 North Academy, Danville. PA.

Shirley was born in Lock Haven, PA to Florence and Raymond Mann on February 12,1941. She worked at the Silk Mill, IGA, Bobby Brooks, and Champion Parts. She loved playing Bingo in Dunnstown, Ante’s Fort, Red Eye Center, and at the Mill Hall Fire Company. She loved to travel. Enjoyed watching game shows. Indulging in ice cream, sweets, and fish sandwiches.

Shirley was loved by her son Richard R. Hetzel, Jr. (Susan) of Mill Hall, Mark A. Hetzel of Sarasota Florida (Janice), Scott W. Hetzel, Joy M. Baney (William), Crystal LM Newberry (Matthew) all of Mill Hall. She was loved by her  great grandchildren, Austin, Mackenzie, and Hunter Chaffin, Nathan, and Grace Baney. She was loved by her grandchildren Tracy Chaffin (Dustin), Tammy Hetzel, William, Jr. (Cortney) and Felicia Baney. She is preceded in death by her father Raymond and mother Florence Mann, Husband Richard R, Hetzel, Sr., a daughter Tina Marie Hetzel, and her brothers Junior Mann and Bob Mann.

Funeral services will be at the Gedon Funeral Homes, 121 West Main Street, Lock Haven, PA, 17745, on Friday, November 1st. Family and friends will be received from 10:00 to 12:00 until the time of service. Burial services following at the cemetery at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 47 Rest Haven Drive, Lock Haven, PA 17745. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Riley of the Flemington First Church of Christ.
