Sharon J. Shroat

Sharon J. Shroat, 76, formerly of Lock Haven, Pa passed away on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

She was born in Lock Haven, Pa to the late Clair and Nadine Miller on November 16th 1947.

Sharon was united in marriage on September 3, 1966 to the late Paul L. Shroat who preceded her in death on November 25th 2012.

In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, camping and spending time with family and friends. She was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and had worked over 20 years at the Woolrich Woolen Mills and 26 years at Community Services Group in Lock Haven where she recently retired.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffery (Brenda) Shroat of Lock Haven, Mike (Beth) Shroat of McElhatten; a daughter, Traci Marchesi of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 5 Grand Children Jessica Marchesi of Fort Wayne IN,  Marc Marchesi of Fort Wayne In, Macie(Cory)Meyer of Lock Haven PA,   Ethan Shroat of McElhatten, and Bradley Shroat of Lock Haven and 4 Great Grandchildren- Isabella Robertson, Ava Minnix and Luca Graff of Fort Wayne In and Gracelyn Meyer of Lock Haven

She was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Per her wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Dunnstown Fire Hall, 119 Woodward Avenue, Lock Haven, PA Sharon's Favorite Bingo spot.
