Sara L Gehret

Sara (Moore) Gilmore Gehret, 97, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

Born May 16, 1928, she was a daughter to the late Jacob (Ted) and Jean Bressler Moore.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, C. David Gilmore, Jr. and Ardell Gehret; sisters, Jean Whitener and Alberta (Bertie) Gedon; her son, C. David (Dave) Gilmore, III; her daughter, Gail Gephart, and son-in-law, Charlie Gephart; and a grandson, Rick Kriner.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry Gilmore Kriner; a son-in-law John Kriner; a daughter-in-law, Donna Gilmore Blanchard; grandchildren, John Kriner, Jr., Kim (Steve) Marconi, Tammie (Shawn) Readinger, Brad (Jen) Gilmore and David (Lourdes) Gilmore; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Respecting Sara’s wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral service.

Internment will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
