Sandra L. Stevenson Clarke, 36, of Lock Haven, Pa., passed away on Wednesday May 20, 2026 at the UPMC Lock Haven Hospital.
Sandy was born in Lock Haven, Pa., to parents Steve and Patti (Smith) Stevenson on December 6, 1989. After her graduation from Central Mountain High School in 2008, she went on to Bloomsburg University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After college graduation, Sandy moved to the Philadelphia area where she worked as a Senior Accountant for the Girl Scouts of America East Coast Division. Sandy moved back to the Lock Haven area in 2016 to start her new career, working her way up to Senior Financial Analyst at First Quality in McElhatten. In 2018, she earned her MBA from Clarion University.
On December 1, 2023 Sandy married Justin Clarke, son of Mary and Richard Clarke.
In her youth, Sandy played Little League and Pop Warner Flag football. She was a standout CMHS Girl’s Basketball player helping her team to a 22-2 record in 2008. She also holds the current school records for assists.
Sandy was a lifelong sports fan of the Yankees, The Green Bay Packers, and especially UNC basketball. She recently fulfilled her dream of seeing a game at Lambeau Field.
Sandy was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Lock Haven Moose Lodge, and a graduate of Leadership Clinton County.
She will be remembered for her generosity, quick wit, unique gift giving, and her ability to make friends and have a good time with everyone.
In addition to her husband and parents, Sandy is survived by a brother, Michael Stevenson (Melanie) of Eldersburg, MD; her nieces Sofia and Palmer Stevenson, her nephew Dean Stevenson, and grandfather William Smith. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles; Judy and Joe Rishel and Marlene and Bob Gilmore, cousins Jason Gilmore (Ashley) and Kylie Gilmore. One of her proudest moments was being named godmother to Mitchell Merten, son of Dan and Emily Williams Merten.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Jane and Ray Stevenson and Jacqueline Smith.
A Funeral service for Sandra L. Stevenson will be held on Wednesday, May 27th, 10:30 am at the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services LLC., 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa., 17745 with Deacon Charles R. Williams officiating. Friends and family will be received in the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon, May 26th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Burial will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
