Robert L. Mitcheltree

Robert L. Mitcheltree, 88, formerly of Lock Haven, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the Twinbrook Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Lawrence Park PA .  He was born in Lock Haven on June 9, 1935, to Albert and Mildred Mitcheltree.

Robert was a  1954 graduate of Lock Haven High School. He served in the US Marine Corp and was a member of the Lock Haven Legion Post 131.  He was a welder at Piper Aircraft; a machinist at Erie Forge and Steel and he was an owner operator of his own OTR tractor trailer for more than 15 years before retiring. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and taking day trips in his Renault Convertible.

Survivors include a son, Terry Mitcheltree of Ripley, NY, and a sister Genevieve Myers of Lock Haven and three grandchildren, Ryan, Alexis and Sydney Mitcheltree.

Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan,  a son, Gary Mitcheltree, two brothers Kenneth and Albert Mitcheltree. And his companion Edna Reeves.

Services and interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
