Norma E. (Hill) Packer

Norma E. Packer 81, formerly of 347 Ridge Road, Mill Hall, PA died September 3, 2022 at Haven Place, Lock Haven, PA. Born December 31, 1940 in Flemington she was the daughter of the late Martin T. and Florence M. Horner Hill. On September 15, 1962 she married Henry E. Packer who died June 11, 2018.

Norma was a 1959 graduate of the Lock Haven High School and had worked at a number of local businesses including the former Renninger’s Lumber Co. where she was a manager in the electrical dept., Scot’s Lo-cost, Snowiss Fur Co., Big Wrangler Steak House, Woolworth’s and the Lock Haven Day Care. Norma had been a member of the Hillview Wesleyan Church where she had been a choir member and had attended the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed ceramics, sewing and crafting.    

Survivors include:

     1 daughter:  Genea L. (Steven) King, Jefferson, NC

     1 son:             Henry E. (Rhonda) Packer, Jr., Loganton, PA

     1 sister:          Lauretta Hill, Lock Haven, PA

     5 brothers:     Jack Hill, Royersford, PA; Floyd Hill, Castanea, PA; Clarence Hill ; Melvin (Linda)

                              Hill, Bloomsburg, PA and Albert “Hap” (Carol) Hill, Flemington, PA

      3 grandchildren: Mackeson I. Packer, Tiffany D. (Robert) Elliott and Bryana R. (Joseph) Augustine

      4 great-grandchildren: Megan G. and Rebekah J. Elliott and Hannah F. and Lydia H. Augustine

***preceded in death by:  3 sisters: Cherry Hill, Gloria Houdeshell and Geraldine Beach

                                               1 brother: Dennis Hill

At Norma’s request, there will be no visitation or services.
