Mildred (Millie) E Strouse

Millie Strouse, 74, of Monument, Pa. passed away on February 16, 2026, in Lock Haven, Pa.

Millie was born in Lock Haven to the late Robert and Vivian Hanley, on August 27, 1951. She went to Lock Haven High School and graduated in 1969. She worked as a sales associate at the Ames department store for nearly 2 decades until they closed the doors. She then went on to work for the Beech Creek Uni-mart for another decade before retiring in 2016. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. She was known for her spunky, feisty, fun-loving ways. She was loved by many.

Millie is survived by her husband Ronald (Butch) Strouse Sr. of Beech Creek Pa.,3 children, Ronald (Malinda) Strouse Jr., Richard Strouse, and Heather (Mike) Haines. She is  survived by her 10 grandchildren, Michelle, Dakota, Brian, Kyle, Dylan, Vickie, Katelyn, Blake, Skyler, and Steve. Also surviving are 8 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers; Rick, George, Aggie and Frank,  and 8 sisters; Sharon, Katie, Wanda, Lucy, Polly, Melinda, Val and Kim.

A celebration of life will be held on April 26, 2026 at the Beech Creek Friendship Center, 127 Main St., Beech Creek, Pa., 16822, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. All family and friends are welcome. Arrangements are under the direction of the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services LLC., 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa  17745.
