Michael L. Ryan

Michael L. Ryan, 83, of Avis, formerly of Mill Hall, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 at the UPMC Williamsport Hospital.   He was born in Lock Haven on December 8, 1940 to Charles R. and Ruby G. Richards Ryan.

Michael was a 1959 Graduate of Lock Haven High School and served in the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania. He had employed by Alvo Electronics Distributor as the Store Manager and Retired in 1995 from Hammermill Paper Company where he had worked in many positions within the company.

He was a toy train enthusiast and enjoyed tying flies, fly fishing, and fishing in Maine. He also collected old radios and repaired them.

Survivors include his wife, the former Sandra Morris, a son; Scott (Melinda) Turner of Summerville, SC, a sister; Linnetta (Michael) Long of Monticello, FL, three grandchildren and one great granddaughter. 

In keeping with Michaels wishes there will be no services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
