Mary Jo was a 1947 graduate of the Immaculate Conception High School in Lock Haven. After Mary Jo was married, she moved to Williamsport where she was owner and President of the former B & B Welding Shop in Williamsport; which her and her husband operated for over 35 years.
Survivors include her children David J. Bloom and Susan A. Bloom of Williamsport and two grandchildren, Megan E. Bloom of Williamsport and Kevin D. (Krista) Bloom of Williamsport and two great granddaughters, Daisy and Violet.
She is also survived by three sisters in laws, Barbara Krainak and Betty Anthony both of Williamsport and Mary Halderman of Florida and a brother-in-law, Raymond Bloom of Williamsport. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Dicello Baney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, PA with the Father Glenn E. McCreary officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
