Marilyn H. Bitner

Marilyn L. Bitner, 89, of McElhattan passed away  Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Manor Care North, Williamsport.   She was born in Farrandsville on October 19, 1934 to Leon and Ruth C. Champion Jones.

She was a 1954 graduate of Clarion High School. Marilyn was united in marriage to William H. Bitner on June 24, 1956 who survives at home.

Marilyn had been employed by various business.  She had been  a member of the Farrandsville Peoples Church and a past member of Eastern Stars.

In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her son Brian Bitner, a sister Joanann Allison, 2 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Eric Bitner March 12, 2023, four brothers and four sisters.

A graveside memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
