Kathryn Younkin Obituary

Kathryn Grove Younkin, 95, of Lock Haven passed away, Friday, June 7, 2024 at Haven Place. She was born March 20, 1929 in Williamsport to Charles and Helen Grimes Grove.

Kathryn was united in marriage to Lester W. Younkin on May 11, 1946 who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, babysitter, and enjoyed spending time with family.

Survivors include her sons; Charles Roger (Denise) Younkin, Dennis Eugene (Terri) Younkin, Terry Lee (Pam) Younkin, six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Ned Larue Younkin, Walter William Younkin, a daughter, Jennifer Kinley, her brothers Charles Grove, Melvin Grimes, her sister Eleanor Miller, and her grandson, Aaron Kinley.

A memorial graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Services are under the direction of the Gedon Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 West Main St., Lock Haven.
