John L. (Sr.) Mills

John Leo Mills Sr. (84) of Summerson’s Mountain PA passed away on January 28,2024 in Lock Haven PA.  John was born in Renovo PA to William and Maude Mills on August 2, 1939. 

He attended Renovo High School.  John worked in various positions throughout his lifetime, most recently retiring as an electrician for Hammermill Paper Company.  He enjoyed reading, photography, and could often be found behind his camera capturing the beauty of nature. 

John is survived by his children Brian (Mary) Mills, Linda (Robert) Kelley, John Jr. (Stephanie) Mills, Frank Mills Sr., James (Kathy) Mills, Shawn Mills, Meagan Mills, Roxanne Mills, and many grandchildren, he was also preceded in death by a son, Butch Mills. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gedon Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, PA.  and will be held at the convenience of the family.
