Joanna M. "Joane" (Dangergeni) Francis

Joanna Marie (Joanie) Francis,   21 Summerson St., North Bend, PA died July 31, 2022 in the UPMC Williamsport Hospital, Born June 24, 1954 in Renovo, PA the daughter of the late Vito A. and Emma Dangergeni  Janerella , On July 28, 1973 she married Jesse J. Francis who survives at home.

Joanie was a 1972 graduate of the Bucktail High School and had worked for 45 years in the Product Development Dept. at Woolrich.  She worked at Source for Teachers.  She was a member of the St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Renovo and the CD of A in Renovo.  She was a faith based individual who loved her grandson.

She is survived by one daughter Natalie G. Summerson, State College, PA.  Two brothers, Francis (Cindy) Janerella of Avis and Vito A (Wendy) Janerella, Jr., North Bend,  one sister Lucy Janerella, North Bend, one grandson, Evan F Summerson.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 4th, at 12 noon in St Joseph’s Catholic Church Renovo, PA with Father Joseph Orr officiating.  Interment will in St Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Hyner, PA. 

Friends will be received in the church rectory from 11 AM until time of the Mass.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers are requested to St Joseph’s Church in care of Dean K Wetzler Jr Funeral Home.
