Jackqueline P Johnson

Jackqueline P. Johnson, 52, of Howard, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, in the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. 

She was born on Jan. 25, 1973, in Lock Haven, to James R. and Phyllis McKeague Hayes, Sr.

Jackqueline was a graduate of the Bellefonte High School and had worked as a caregiver at the Wynwood Nursing Home. 

She grew up on a farm and gained a love for animals, especially dolphins.

Survivors include her sisters, Brenda Savrock, of Renovo, and Theresa (Chris) Frantz, of Loganton; and her brothers, Jamie R. Hayes, Jr., of Bellefonte, and Keith Leathers, of Howard. Along with her siblings, she is survived by multiple aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Hall; and a brother, Wade Leathers. She is also preceded in death by her beloved dog, Pepper. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
