Gloria Jean (Jeannie) Hornberger, 81 of Williamsport, PA, went peacefully with the Lord on March 16, 2025, at Edenbrook Nursing Facility.
Gloria was born in Williamsport to the late Edna May Mayer and Joseph Ernest Stutzman Sr., on June 15, 1943.
Gloria in her early days worked as a nurse in a nursing home for many years then worked at Keystone Friction Hinge where she retired. She loved spending her time playing bingo with her sisters as well as baking. Everyone loved her chocolate covered cherries, peanut butter balls and her chocolate covered animal crackers.
Gloria is survived by her 2 children, her daughter, Rhonda (Mike) Summers of Cogan Station, as well as her Son, Ronald William Polcyn Jr. of the Picture Rocks Area ,1 brother Joseph Stutzman. her 5 Grandchildren, Gabrielle (Michael) Sawko, Jewelyanna (Mika) Mertz, Jenny Summers, Austin Polcyn and Devon Polcyn. 5 Great Grandchildren, Makenna, Amelia, Rafe, Penelope and Greyson. Lastly, she is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as Great nieces and nephews. She absolutely adored her family, every one of them.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Hornberger who passed on December 10, 2013, as well are her two sisters whom she is finally reunited with, Peggie and Josephine.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date.
