Donna Rathmell Obituary

Donna Lee Rathmell (formerly Good), age 86, passed away on March 10, 2026. She was born in Conemaugh, Pennsylvania, and was the daughter of Clara and Leroy Good. Donna moved to Renovo in 1950 and  graduated from Renovo High School. She went on to study at  the Franklin School of Science and Arts in Philadelphia, earning a degree in Technical Medical Secretarial Studies.

Donna worked as a medical secretary at Bucktail Medical Center and later as a buyer for American Coastal Industries, from which she retired. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she lived a life shaped by faith, love, and community. A devout Christian and active church member, she was cherished for her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit.

She loved to sing, was an avid bridge player, and had a delightful sense of humor. Nothing brought her more joy than sharing laughter, stories, and little moments with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, John Paul Rathmell Jr. (“Pete”); her sons, John Paul Rathmell III (“Trey”), Barry A. Rathmell, and Steven H. Rathmell; her grandchildren, Madeline, Jack, Megan, Sophie, Sarah Jane, Benjamin, and Katie; her great-grandchildren, Stevie and Charlie; and her sister, Patricia Hershey.
