Carol M. Binkley

Carol Mae Binkley, 81, of  Linnippi Trail, Lock Haven passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born in Lock Haven on September 17, 1942, to Harold and Ruth Greene Whiteleather.

Carol was a 1960 graduate of the Lock Haven High School, and Baptist Bible College in Johnson City, NY. She worked at several banks in the area and was a substitute teacher at the Lock Haven Christian School. Carol was a pianist and organist at her church and at Gedon Funeral Homes. She was a member of the Calvery Baptist. Church in Jersey Shore.

Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting, and cooking.

 Survivors include her husband, Thomas Binkley, a son,  Dr. Timothy (Barbara) Eichenlaub of Venice, FL, a daughter, Betsy (Jeff) Jerome of Dalton, PA, and a sister Ann Wagner of Lock Haven, PA, three  grandchildren Braiden, Ana, and Callum Jerome.

 Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, John Eichenlaub and her second husband, Howard P. Bierly, and a son, Todd. 

Funeral services for Carol M. Binkley will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC,  121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, PA. Officiating will be Pastor Jeffrey Howell of the Calvery Baptist Church in Jersey Shore, PA. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:00am until the time of the services. The family suggest in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be accepted to the Calvery Baptist Church, 315 Thompson St. Jersey Shore, Pa 17740, or the donor’s favorite charity.

Interment will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
