Albert Brawand Jr.

Albert Brawand Jr., 76 of W. Church St. Mill Hall, passed away at home March 14, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born in Lock Haven on March 30, 1947, to the late Albert Sr. and Elizabeth Masden Brawand.

Al was a graduate of Lock Haven High School, upon graduating he then entered the armed forces with the United States Navy. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the United States Navy with over 20 years of service and the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer in 1987. After his service duty, Al returned to the Lock Haven area and went to work with the United States Postal Service in Williamsport, retiring there after 20 years of service. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and gardening.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Hiromi Wada Brawand, their one son, Brian K. (Anne) Brawand of Macungie, PA and two grandsons, Bryce and Brady. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara A. Korman, March 6, 2012.  

To honor their loved one’s request, there will be no services.
